External power supply – Eliminates internal 9v battery required by EMG active pickups and electronics – Quick access to battery compartment – No routing required on your instrument – No pickguard removal to access battery.

A balanced (TS 1/4” to TRS 1/4”) “stereo” cable is required between your instrument and the ES-18, cable available from EMG as well (STC-15 or STC-20).
