Now, Behringer’s painstakingly studied the works of its predecessors to introduce the Pro VS Mini hybrid vector synthesizer, a fully portable take on vector synthesis that merges iconic, multimodal sonics with contemporary control and accessibility. Its 4-voice design comprises 16 total vector morphing oscillators, with four per voice, alongside 128 waveforms of wavetable synthesis. Armed with analog filters, a contemporary connectivity suite, and a slew of performance tools, synthesists are enthralled with the possibilities afforded by this joystick-driven module.

In the heyday of vector synthesis, the joystick was the go-to mode of wave-crafting, with four orthogonal waveforms to create a vector plane in which you morphed between waveforms. Pro VS Mini retains this classic design, implementing a host of heritage and modern features to afford even more sonic possibilities. Its 24-decibel lowpass filter, fully programmable 16-step sequencer, and tripartite arpeggiator utilize a completely analog architecture to evoke the classic character of the era, including a studio-caliber chorus effect for expansive texturization. Each of its two onboard LFOs is capable of attenuating filters and oscillator tuning. Its Sync connection and MIDI input ensure flexible, inter-operative control; meanwhile, the USB-C port can power your synth via smartphones, computers, and power banks to make way for more portability-minded potential.
