Alternatively, the Behringer 182 has an option for running the two channels in series for a single channel of 16-steps. You can control the tempo of sequences manually or via an external clock, and the Behringer 182 has a front panel Stop/Start button to launch and end sequences. A delay control acts as a portamento, setting the length of time it takes for a note to rise or fall; and a gate control lets you set the pulse width of the steps.
