With one foot in the past and both eyes focused on the future, Spaun Drum Company has combined yesterday’s classic look and sound of wood hoops with their Custom Series drums. This 14 x 7 in. features an 8-ply 100% maple shell fitted with 12-ply, cross-laminated, hard rock maple hoops with a low profile design that offers drummers a comfortable, consistent playing angle that is similar to most metal hoop drums.
Providing a warmer and more resonant sound than metal hoops, you can really hear the woody character of both shell and hoops working together as one.
